FAST Is Hiring

Because High Quality Forensic Work Shouldn’t Burn You Out

The Forensic Assessment Services Team (FAST) is growing FAST, and we’re looking for licensed psychologists with forensic training to join our team.

Dr. Ashbaugh and Dr. McLawsen co-founded FAST to help solve the shortage of qualified evaluators who are available to conduct high-quality evaluations for primarily public defense referrals. Our mission: make sure every defendant gets a thorough, fair, and timely evaluation — but never ever at the expense of our evaluators' wellbeing.

We started FAST to create a supportive and energizing environment where talented forensic psychologists can thrive in a workplace that values sound clinical judgment, best practices, our evaluators’ integrity, and people over paperwork. If you’re jazzed about doing meaningful, flexible, evidence-driven evaluations as part of a team that truly values your expertise, FAST wants to hear from you.

Let’s build something that works better for evaluators, and for the people we serve

*A note on format:

FAST is uncompromising when it comes to best practices. Much of our work is conducted via telebehavioral health. However, if an evaluation needs to be undertaken in person (e.g., due to testing demands or specific clinical concerns), a local evaluator will undertake it.
